Privacy policy
CountNest does not collect, send, sell or share any data about you.
What CountNest stores
Your tallies: each one's name, symbol, color and daily goal, its count for each day, a running total, and the times of its 200 most recent additions. Also a few settings, such as what the heat map squares show. All of it stays on your device, in storage shared by the app and its widgets.
No accounts, ads, analytics or tracking
CountNest has no sign-in, advertising, analytics, crash-reporting service, advertising identifier or tracking code. It makes no network requests.
Shortcuts
CountNest's actions, such as Add to Tally, run on your device when you or your shortcuts start them.
You make shortcuts in the Shortcuts app yourself, and Shortcuts keeps it under Apple's privacy policy. CountNest cannot see your other shortcuts.
Apple
Apple processes your download of the app. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in iOS settings, Apple may send us crash and usage reports. Apple says these reports do not identify you. Apple's privacy policy applies to all of this.
Keeping and deleting your data
CountNest keeps your tallies until you delete them or the app. Deleting the app deletes them. Nothing leaves your device, so we cannot see, export or delete your tallies for you.
Children
CountNest collects nothing from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
